Publication standard
Every guide must help a reader complete one identifiable task or diagnose one observable symptom. We do not publish pages whose only purpose is to capture a keyword variation.
Product behavior, plan limitations, menu paths, and supported fixes are checked against current first-party documentation from the relevant software publisher. Tax thresholds and filing rules are checked against the responsible government authority.
A documented product step is presented as a fact and linked. A diagnostic inference, practical preference, or recommendation is labeled as such and includes the conditions that make it appropriate.
Guides flag steps that delete, void, unreconcile, rebuild, restore, reclassify, or otherwise change accounting records. Readers are told when to make a backup, preserve an audit trail, or involve an accountant.
We do not claim a fix was laboratory-tested, used with a specific client, or reviewed by a credentialed professional unless that review actually occurred and can be documented.
Software may assist with research organization, keyword clustering, drafting, link checks, and consistency checks. It is not presented as a human expert or a substitute for source verification. The published byline identifies the organization accountable for the result.
Materially reviewed guides show a review date and their sources. If an interface or product behavior changes, we update the workflow or add a visible limitation rather than hiding uncertainty.
A free tool is linked only when it directly helps with the task. The article explains what the tool can and cannot verify, preserves the reader’s original file, and requires review before import or posting.
A product screenshot is published only where seeing the real screen helps you find a control or understand a message, cropped to the region the surrounding text explains and containing no private or third-party data. Numbered markers and their legends are ours, are labeled as commentary, and never restage what the screen shows. Every figure credits and links its source. Original diagrams are labeled as ours and never presented as product screens.
If a menu path, limitation, warning, or factual statement is wrong, send the page URL, the specific sentence, and—when possible—a current first-party source. Material corrections should update the review date.
