Welcome to Free Accounting Tools by Prime Connect (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data and sensitive financial information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website (tryprimeconnect.com) and use our suite of free browser-based QuickBooks® utilities (the “Service”).

2. Information We Collect

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the Service includes:

2.1 Personal Data

Personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, and company details, that you voluntarily give to us when you register for an account, fill out lead capture forms, request quotes, or otherwise interact with our Service.

Google OAuth Sign-In: When you choose to sign in using Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google via the OAuth protocol. This data is stored securely in our authentication system (Supabase) and is used solely for account creation and session management. We do not access your Google Drive, contacts, or any other Google services beyond the basic profile information. 2.2 Financial Data and Uploaded Files

When you use our utilities (such as the CSV to IIF Converter or Bank CSV Cleaner), you may upload financial documents, CSV files, and banking statements. Importantly: All file conversion and processing happens entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to or processed on any external server. No financial data leaves your device at any point during the conversion process. We do not store, transmit, or have access to the transaction data, balances, or financial records contained within your uploaded files.

2.3 Automatically Collected Data

When you access the Service, we automatically collect certain information about your device and usage, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Service. We use Google Ads conversion tracking (tag AW-17691475825) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and to improve our Service.

Supabase Authentication Cookies: These cookies are essential for the operation of our Service. 3.2 Analytics and Advertising Cookies (Non-Essential)

Google Ads Conversion Tracking: We use Google Ads conversion tracking cookies to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. These cookies help us understand which ads lead users to our Service and track conversion events. The data collected is aggregated and anonymized. Tawk.to Live Chat: We use Tawk.to to provide live chat customer support. Note regarding your financial files: We do not share your uploaded financial data (CSV or IIF content) with any third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Specifically:

  • Account data (name, email, profile information) is retained for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, your data will be removed within 30 days.
  • Callback and contact requests are retained for 12 months from the date of submission, after which they are automatically purged.
  • Uploaded financial files are never stored on our servers — all processing occurs locally in your browser.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@tryprimeconnect.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

7. Your Data Protection Rights (GDPR)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or any other jurisdiction that provides similar data protection rights, you have certain rights regarding your personal data. We aim to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your personal data.

While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

All file processing is performed locally in your browser — no financial data is ever transmitted to our servers. Your session authentication data is secured via encrypted cookies, but your actual file contents remain entirely on your device throughout the conversion process.

9. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers promptly.

If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@tryprimeconnect.com so that we can take the necessary actions.

10. Third-Party Websites

The Service may contain links to third-party websites and applications of interest, including advertisements and external services, that are not affiliated with us.
